About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at SGSC Chakung is committed to nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and quality enhancement in both academic and administrative spheres. Established in line with the XII Plan Guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the IQAC plays a pivotal role in guiding the institution toward achieving excellence through systematic self-evaluation and proactive measures for quality assurance.
As the IQAC of SGSC Chakung, our key objectives and initiatives include:
- Development of quality benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities, ensuring that the institution meets and exceeds the standards of higher education.
- Encouraging a conducive teaching-learning environment by fostering innovation, collaboration, and best practices in pedagogy.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders to ensure that the institution remains responsive to the needs and expectations of its community.
- Motivating faculty to pursue research and professional development through participation in Orientation/Refresher courses, seminars, workshops, and research projects.
- Promotion of research aptitude among both faculty and students to cultivate a strong academic and research-oriented culture within the college.
- Documentation of institutional activities to ensure that all processes, achievements, and initiatives are systematically recorded and analyzed for future improvement.
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement by creating platforms for feedback, dialogue, and collaboration between the institution and its stakeholders.
The IQAC at SGSC Chakung is dedicated to fostering a continuous process of self-reflection and growth, contributing to the overall excellence of the institution in providing quality education and governance.
