Welcome to the Department of Botany at SGSC, Chakung, established in 2016, Our department is dedicated to nurturing a deep understanding of plant science and fostering a passion for biological research. The B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany program offers an in-depth study of plant biology, ecology, physiology, and taxonomy, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on fieldwork.
Our accomplished faculty supports a culture of scientific inquiry, encouraging students to engage in research projects and preparing them for competitive exams.
